For this national event, Windsor Castle will celebrate its unique contribution to the world of books. Over two days some of the finest books in the Royal Library will be displayed throughout the State Apartments.

Admire exquisite illuminated manuscripts together with books owned by Henry VIII and Charles I. Meet the librarians as well as specialists and apprentices from the bindery who are preserving the ancient craft of hand-bookbinding for future generations.

On Friday, 2 March rare books and manuscripts from the library of the Dean and Canons of Windsor will be on display in St George's Chapel.
