Mobility access
Wheelchairs and lifts
Manual wheelchairs and rollators (wheeled walkers) are available to borrow free of charge on a first come, first served basis for the duration of a visit. Mobility scooters are permitted inside The Queen's Gallery provided they are compatible with the lift – the lift measures 137cm in depth by 106cm in width and has a weight limit of 630kg.

Access
There are 22 steps up to the main exhibition level. The remainder of the Gallery has level access.

Flooring and surfaces
The Queen’s Gallery and shop have polished wooden floors. There is a stone floor in the lobby.
Respite seating
Seating is available in the Gallery and in the Café at the Palace in the Mews Courtyard.

Assistance animals
Assistance animals are welcome and water is available on request.
Shops
The shop is located opposite the Café and next to the entrance to The Queen’s Gallery. The shop is on one level with wooden flooring.

Toilets
Accessible toilets are located in The Queen’s Gallery and in the Mews Courtyard, opposite the Café.
Parking and transport
The nearest disabled parking bays are located on Horse Wynd, just outside the Palace. For further information please see maps & directions.
